Peter Kostopoulos – My childhood years were spent at Kettle Cove, in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. There were lots of BBQ’s, swimming and fishing with my big family and never a lack of love surrounded by all my aunts, uncles and cousins.
I grew up in that town and Kettle Cove was – and continues to be – a large part of my life. My Mom and dad still reside there, just two coves over from Kettle Cove in Broad Cove where I still go every week to walk the beach.
My family’s connection to Portland, Maine began in the 1920’s when my grandfather purchased a building on Free Street that he turned into a tailor shop. In the late 1970’s my parents turned the place into a restaurant which I worked at and eventually took over in 1991.
